Tasting Notes: The Costa Arente Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is an intense ruby red in color. The nose is immediately elegant, intense, enveloping with notes of cherry jam, and notes of morello cherry. On the palate it is soft, persuasive, never tiring thanks to the characteristic acidity of the area. Always inviting to drink, it is ideal with first courses with a strong flavor, such as risotto with porcini mushrooms or pasta with game ragu, it goes very well with second courses of meat and aged cheeses.
