Begin to learn about all Italy has to offer in this collection of wines from South to North.

PUGLIA (Apulia) forms the heel of the Italian peninsula’s boot, running up the Adriatic coast to the boot’s “spur.” Its capital and largest city is Bari. As one of the least mountainous of Italy’s regions, located in the sun-baked south, Puglia is a major agricultural area, for grapes and wine as for other products. In the wine world, Puglia is still not particularly well known, but as quality continually improves, its wines are attracting great interest.

PASSAMANTE SALICE SALENTINO 2020 Li Veli
Tasting Notes: A deep, bright ruby red in color, it is rich and intensely spicy on the nose, with notes of cherry jam, tobacco and black pepper. It is excellent with boiled, braised or grilled meats.

ASTI is the name of a province, a town and a wine – all to be found in Piedmont, north-western Italy. The suffix "d'Asti" appears in the names of several wines om the Asti area, including Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto d'Asti and of course the famous Moscato d'Asti. When used alone (just 'Asti') on a wine label, it indicates the wine formerly known as Asti Spumante – a refreshing, slightly sweet, sparkling white wine made from Moscato grapes.

MOSCATO D'ASTI Azienda Agricola Caudrina
Tasting Notes: Naturally lively, deep straw yellow in color, aromatic with delicate flower scent – the taste of this wine is sweet, pleasantly acidic, with delicate and persistent aroma. Perfect dessert wine, ideal with dry bakery, with the traditional “panettone".

TRENTINO ALTO ADIGE is the northernmost Italian region, comprising two areas with very different personalities: the Germanic Alto Adige or Südtirol, which borders and once belonged to Austria, and right below it the more Italian but still very Alpine Trentino. Though it has no DOCGs, the region’s nine DOCs account for 93% of its wine production; most of the remainder is labeled with one of the four IGPs. Its primary grape varieties are Chardonnay (22%), Pinot Grigio (19%), and Schiava (9%).

PINOT GRIGIO St. Michael-Eppan
Tasting Notes: Fruity aroma of pear and apple. On the palate, soft, refined and elegant. Straw yellow in color, with a slight green shimmer. Light, crips, and easy to drink on its own or with lighter appetizers. Grown on various vineyards in the municipalities of Appiano and Caldaro.
