PIEDMONT occupies most of northwestern Italy, bordering Switzerland in the north and France in the west and almost reaching the Mediterranean coast. In the wine world, Piemonte is best known for the twin titans of Barolo and Barbaresco, along with other popular red wines made om Barbera and Dolcetto, the white Gavi, and sparkling Asti.. Its primary grape varieties are Barbera (31%), Moscato (22%), Dolcetto (13%), and Nebbiolo (10%).

BAROLO MONFALLETTO Cordero di Montezemolo
Tasting Notes:
100% Nebbiolo. Historic wine of the winery coming from the carefully selected blend of the Monfalletto Estate vineyards in the town of La Morra. Intense garnet in color, the nose shows floral and spicy notes perfectly blended: tobacco, cherries, cocoa and fresh raspberry highlights. The palate is rich, full-bodied and elegant.

FRIULI-VENEZIA GIULIA reigns supreme as Italy’s economic center, and premier producer of world-class white wines. Situated in the northeastern corner of Italy, this region boasts an extensive cultural, historic, artisan, and culinary wealth. Bordered by Austria and Slovenia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia is the ultimate travel destination spot. From sandy coastal beaches in the south, to skiing the famed Dolomites in the north, the diversity of this beautiful landscape is truly awe inspiring.

RINERA ROSSO Ronchi di Cialla
Tasting Notes:
A pale purple in the glass, the nose immediately shows the spicy qualities of the Schioppettino grape. Purple flowers, dried leaves, and black pepper. Brambly blackberries and esh plum. Underneath, there and herbal quality with crushed stones and rocky minerals. On the palate, the flavors echo the nose. Dark uits and summer plums with peppercorns and elegant tannin.

SICILY is an island region—the largest island in the Mediterranean—which almost touches the Italian peninsula’s toe (Calabria). Its capital and largest city is Palermo. In the wine world, Sicilia was once best known for the dessert wine Marsala, although today it is more prominent for the dry wines of Etna, as well as its large volume of everyday-drinking red and white wines. The region’s featured grape varieties are Nero d’Avola and Grillo.

ETNA BIANCO Benanti
Tasting Notes:
The wine has a pale yellow color, with bright greenish tints. The nose is intense and delicate with hints of apple. The palate is dry and mineral with pleasant acidity and salinity, persistent and harmonious. This wine pairs well with fish and seafood. Very suitable for by-the-glass consumption.
