Tasting Notes: The Ettore Germano Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba has a bright garnet red color. The nose shows strawberry, cherry, pomegranate and rose petals. On the palate you find red fruits which pack a punch of energy and power that persists to the finish of elegant tannins.
Estate History: Ettore Germano, winegrowers since 1856, now cared for by fourth generation son Sergio, was established as a winery in 1975. In 1988 the first 5,000 bottles between Barolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera were then placed on the market together with a small production of Chardonnay.
