Tasting Notes: Bursôn is the ‘Amarone Romagnolo’. An intensely perfumed red from the ancient grape Longanesi that came to Ravenna when it was the Capital of the Western Roman Empire. It sees one year in tank, two years in tonneau, and one year in bottle before release.
Estate History: In Emilia Romagna near Ravenna, close to the Adriatic Sea the Randi family has been championing indigenous local grapes such as Lunganesi, Malbo Gentile, Dora and Famoso for over 70 years.
