Tasting Notes: From Calabria's oldest wine producer Ippollito, Rosso Calabrise is made with the ancient Calabrese (aka Nero d'Avola) varietal. Medium body with juicy, ripe fruit notes, light oak and herbacious qualities. The grapes are hand harvested in the beginning of October, undergo a long maceration on the skins. After just 7 months in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled, preserving intact the original grapes’ qualities.
